Moss Wood Amy's Blend

Cabernet Sauvignon blended with Petit Verdot, Malbec and Merlot. Lifted dark fruit aromas of mulberries and blackcurrants, backed by some spicy, white pepper notes from the Malbec and musk-like perfumes from the Petit Verdot; complex cedar and tarry notes in the background. Each variety is picked and fermented separately. The colour and flavour are extracted by pump over, up to 3 times per day. The wine is aged for 12 months in 225 litre old French oak barrels. Production and aging techniques designed specifically for early drinking.
